Capcom ist ein Team von Spieleentwicklern und zugleich auch Publisher. Die erste große Reihe von Capcom, die ich vorstellen möchte ist die Mega Man-Spielereihe. Ein weitere Reihe sind die Resident Evil-Spiele und Street Fighter.
Die Gründung von Capcom
Capcom hat seinen Sitz in Osaka. Er begann 1979 als Hersteller und Vertreiber elektronischer Spielautomaten. 1983 wurde Capcom Co Ltd. gegründet. Den Anfang machten Heim- und Arcadespiele. Die Firma baute sich einen Ruf für die Einführung von Spitzentechnologie und -software auf dem Videospielemarkt auf. Seit 25 Jahren ist das Unternehmen Branchenführer in der Videospielbranche.
Capcom baut seit Begin als Hersteller Spielautomaten auf. Heute ist die Firma in allen Bereichen der Videospielindustrie tätig. Capcom hat Filialen in Tokio, Osaka, Kalifornien, England, Deutschland und Hongkong.
