The developers of Tropico 6 are Limbic Entertainment. The same studio was behind Might & Magic: Heroes 7. El Presidente has its appearance. You take over a Caribbean state and build a communist dictatorship. Crank up the economy and tourism, fulfill the wishes of your citizens and negotiate with your neighboring countries.
You don't have just one island to rule. An archipelago is yours. Outposts, mines, and farms on the small islands all around. For hobby communists there is also the endless game, for which you can put together a random card. Graphically, the Caribbean knows how to inspire. Unfortunately this time El Presidente is designed to be relatively colorless. The figure has little character. The game's graphics are first class and rich in detail.
You play through four ages, from colonial times to modern times. The tropico industry includes rum, cigars, electronics, tourism and others. With propaganda you beat the drum. You have to educate your population or you need skilled workers from abroad. To unlock the buildings you need the appropriate blueprints. With research you specialize. Many buildings can be improved. You simply quarter sights from other countries on the Caribbean island. Neuschwanstein Castle and other surprises await you. With enough loot points you send your agents on a raid for sights. Otherwise they go on missions or in search of treasure. You also have an influence on the political system in Tropico 6.
On your islands you host several factions, with which you collect plus points or not. Other factions may not like what you are doing. You can invest your money in a broker in Tropico. Tropico 6 does not deliver a campaign, but different scenarios. The order is up to you.
