Princess Ivo is pregnant. But she didn't have with Nate ... So how could that happen? A curse has its finger in the game. Or not? Off to Seefeld to ask the archmage. The election campaign troubles Wilbur, because the pink-oriented council chairman Van Buren and her daughter are hungry for power. Wilbur is right in the middle of a pink catastrophe.
You spend around 20 hours trying to save the world from ruin and you take turns driving Ivo, Wilbur, Nate and Vieh. You will come across some well-known locations from the previous parts. The greatest danger you have to save Aventasia from is the overpowering power of the plush pink.
This not only keeps the story straight, but also brings some surprising twists and turns. With Nate & Co. you try to save the world in the point & click adventure from being forcibly belittled. You run into old friends like zombies. Some puzzles, like a hangover shake, sound pretty familiar.
You often control some characters with two people, which is very comfortable to play. Sometimes there are real headbutts involved. There are also optional quests with which you can get new items of clothing for your characters. However, you have to find these quests first. Support has The Book of Unritten Tales a hotspot indicator. Sometimes simply trying things out can help you. It won't be too heavy, but it won't be.
The synchronization of the dialogues comes across perfectly. Ben Stiller and Justus Jonas did a great job. They bring variety and humor into it. There are also plenty of allusions to known universes, such as the voice-distorted bounty hunter.
Conclusion
The characters, events and all of Aventasia bring their very own charm, wit and humor with them. The puzzles are not too easy and the story has interesting twists and turns. If you are looking for an entertaining point & click adventure, you can't go wrong.
