Street Fighter 5 is the sequel to Capcom's successful Street Fighter series. The fifth part was published in Japan in 2016.
Street Fighter 5
With 16 figures you can complete eleven stages in the fifth part of the Street Fighter series.
Centrally, Street Fighter 5 is aimed at online lovers. The classic game does not contain an arcade mode, just a choice between story and survival. If you want an arcade mode, you need the arcade edition.
The game modes
The game is a classic fighting game. Three game modes are available. The first is the arcade mode, which is based on the backstory of the game. In versus mode you compete against human or computer opponents. The challenge mode presents you with various tasks that you have to complete in combat, such as combining certain combinations of blows or defeating a certain number of opponents within a time limit. To prepare for the fights, there is also a training mode.
The basis of the story is a fighting tournament in which the best fighters in the world compete against each other. Before the tournament, however, a number of martial artists disappear and the kidnapper does not stop at the sponsor of the tournament. The SIN is probably behind it, the one with Shadaloo, a criminal organization. The protagonists of the story are Ryi, Ken, Sakura, Cammy, Chun-Li, Guile and Crimson Viper. Each character follows a parallel storyline. In the end, the plot converges, so that is fought against the boss Seth, the boss of SIN and at the same time employee of Shadaloo.
For fans of a solo mode, Street Fighter 5 is a disappointment as long as you don't reach for the arcade part. The fifth part of the series is very focused on online games. The game is designed to be very beginner-friendly, but at the same time complex. The story could be better, the comic look scores and the graphics are very well designed. For fight fans, this game is definitely worth it.
