Scoring goals is a one-on-one challenge. Soccars by White Birds Productions, Xor Games, and Bulky Pix is a pretty simple soccer game. You play one-on-one against the computer to score goals. And it's another game that suffers from poor controls too. The concept is innovative.
You drive a car with some sort of magnetic bumper that attracts the ball and the ability to push forward and shoot the ball. Your opponent too. You then try to score more goals than your opponent in the given time.
But that's about the end of innovation. There is only one way to play and there is little else. The controls consist of a tiny D-pad, a button for your bumper and a button for your special powers. The problem with the controls is the D-pad, which is not that accurate and gives you tons of problems. I don't know why you can't just put your finger somewhere on the screen to steer your car. It would be a lot easier than trying a 1-inch D-pad on a touch screen.
The graphics are grainy. Not bad, but in an indoor motocross arena. The sounds don't come across very well, with fairly generic crowd sounds and some sounds for the cars that aren't convincing. This is another iPhone game that is a cool idea and would certainly be better if you had a very easy-to-use interface. As it is, it's not that great at all. If you hit an opponent, you can use their vehicle, but without statistics or perks there is no reason to use it. There is no progress or anything. Play against ten opponents, unlock their cars and you're done.
The game was developed by White BIrds Productions and Bulkypix.
Conclusion
The game cannot really be recommended because it simply has too many defects and looks monotonous.
