Resident Evil 2 was first released in 1998 and, like the first part, was Capcom The action takes place two months after the events of the first part in Raccoon City. The T-virus, which was developed by the Umbrella Corporation, has infected the local population. Claire Redfield and Leon Scott Kennedy have to flee the city.
Resident Evil 2
The game Resident Evil 2 was released under the title Biohazard 2 (Baiohazādo 2 - Resident evil 2).
Puzzles in the city
As in the first part, the main focus of the game is on exploring and cracking nuts. The same goes for the elements of horror survival. The save points and ammunition are limited. Each character has their own problems with an individual story. Shinji Mikami was involved in this part.
the story
Claire Redfield is looking for her brother Chris. Before the city is put into a state of emergency and militarily cordoned off, it arrives. In her search, she witnesses the aftermath of the T virus. While escaping from the zombies, she meets Leon Kennedy, who, like her, tries to escape. He wanted to start his first day with the police, overslept and is attacked by a woman on the way. Both protagonists are now trying to escape the city.
Claire and Leon
Claire and Leon can both be armed with weapons. You have to make do with limited ammunition. First aid sprays and various herbs help if one of the two has been injured. Defeated wounds slow down your character. The closer you get to death, the harder it will be to escape the enemy.

Inventory with limits
The inventory is limited. At various save points you will find options to change your items in your inventory. The ink ribbons for the typewriters for storing are limited.
Change of figures
You have the option to switch back and forth between the two characters. Depending on the protagonist, the stories are independent and offer several development opportunities.
And finally ...
The second part is still very much based on the events of the first Resident Evil and follows on from it. The change between the protagonists offers interesting development opportunities for the story. The survival horror elements are classically limited to a few save points and scarce ammunition. The puzzle elements are very present here, as in the first part.
