Epic Games, who have developed great shooters with Unreal Tournament, presented the SF Shooter Paragon. Unfortunately the game came to a quick end.
Paragon
Paragon is a MOBA. Ten heroes go into battle against each other in teams of five people each on a map. The goal of both teams is to destroy the enemy base. The two teams are not alone. Other enemies and turrets also affect the fight.
The team
Different heroes meet. Some are ranged fighters, others go into hand-to-hand combat. The abilities of the team members are offensive, defensive or supportive healing. In combat you collect amber, which increases your penetration power, increases your speed of movement or replenishes magical powers. You can use the amber to buy additional skills and other upgrades. The death of certain opponents will give you further upgrades and amber. The areas are open areas or dense jungle.
Perspektive
In this MOBA you play your character by looking over the shoulder. There is no bird's eye view here. The structure of the game is very reminiscent of Smite. The game itself is a real-time tactical game. The battles themselves take place on different levels at different altitudes.
The cards
In the game you can collect different cards that contain certain objects. They can be used by the heroes. That's why you have to find the perfect combination.
The guard
In Paragon, the guardian is a character from whom you and your team members have to snatch a bullet and use it elsewhere. After using them, you can upgrade your hero.
Conclusion
The real-time game had a great fun factor. It was a shooter with great graphics and great sound. The game itself presented itself as a new generation shooter. Combined with SFAccording to the developer, it couldn't captivate enough players, which is why Paragon was unfortunately discontinued. A game that has left the gaming world again.
