Mortal Shell is not immediately reminiscent of the Dark Souls game series and brings its own innovations with it.
The White
A white empty body with a game controlled by you. You explore the mysterious world of Fallgrim. You have a problem with that, however, because your character can only take a single hit. Once he's done, slip into other people's shells and learn their skills.
The characters
Four characters are hidden in the forest. Each case you find has its own advantages. The vassal Harros can do almost everything, Tiel the villain has a lot of stamina and King Eredim offers a lot of life energy. The scholar Solomon can also be called the determined one.
The abilities
Up to 10 skills per body are available to learn. Tiel has the ability to heal himself with poison, and the ability you learn must be purchased with Tar currency. You get them from defeated enemies. The main focus of the players is on the gameplay and not on the role-playing elements. In total there are only 4 weapons in the game, each of which brings 2 special attacks.
The fights
You hit your opponents, try to avoid them and most importantly try not to get hit. Enemy movements are easily predictable and follow specific patterns. When it comes to taking down your opponents, timing is extremely important. the bosses are a bit more difficult. You can spend around 15-20 hours playing the game.
Conclusion
Mortal Shell is not necessarily an easy game. If you don't beat your opponent, it's mainly your own failure. The difficulty your cases bring doesn't make the game any easier. Dirkon is a big world and the game isn't just a copy of Dark Souls, but brings with it an independence. Action fans can definitely take a look.
