America is in a state of emergency. Vice President Richard Hawk declared a military dictatorship because criminal immigrants overran the country. This is the only way to put an end to the grievances. The incumbent president is Michael Wilson. He knows the real facts and sets out with a huge 'Mech to free America.
The game is partly a parody of American patriotism. The story seems exaggerated, the dialogues cliché at first glance, the game looks like a cheap B-movie in comic format. You have to think about where the president's motives for defending his country, if there are points in the game, for the greatest damage to the buildings. Even one or the other civilian has to believe in it in the game, who builds the game on the fact that pretty much everything goes over the heap that comes across them.
You play as the president who goes into battle armed to the teeth with his' Mech. In perspective, you play from a third-person perspective.
The game's controls are relatively easy to learn and it is a relatively straight forward shooter. There is no notarial and the controls are not explained. You just have to try your hand at it and learn it. The game consists of around 10 levels, in which your goal is to raze as much as possible. There are hidden objects everywhere, such as permanent items that you can use to improve your mech. This is the only way to survive the later levels. So you are always trying to increase the penetration of your mech. For this you need money for research and a special metal. you can find them in the individual levels. It becomes difficult, for example, when you free hostages, otherwise you not only need the large calibers from your arsenal.
Once you have completed the game once, additional difficulty levels are unlocked. For fun there are additional costumes and weapons. The game is a little older and is a remastered edition of the 15-year-old original. This makes it look a bit older graphically. The music is a little lost in the game, as explosions and gunfire noises sometimes completely overshadow it background objects.
