At Megaquarium you can assemble your own large aquarium. Twice Circled takes the construction simulation of theme parks and lets you build a large aquarium.
The aquarium
You build an aquarium, activate a water filter and the heater. The first fish can be quartered and the first visitor comes. Fish are added and the bigger the fish, the bigger the aquarium has to be.
Disputes in the fish kingdom
Not every fish gets along with all of its fellow fish. Sometimes you have to puddle a little, see who is allowed into which aquarium. There are 97 different animals to place. However, the water quality and temperature must be right for the animals.
Demanding fish
Some fish have higher demands and need separate aquariums. You research these with your ecology and science points. If the guests look at the fish, you get points for it. With ecology points you increase the bar for animal research. With the science points you unlock new equipment.
Source of income visitors
Customers let the tills ring. The price corresponds to the level of the aquarium. The micromanagement in the building is particularly relevant. You take control intuitively with the mouse. You enlarge areas and move objects. The employees feed the animals and repair machines.
Conclusion
Megaquarium is an entertaining setup simulation based on the aquarium theme. This is something new and still not overly demanding in terms of graphics. The animal species are easily recognizable and reproduced and the intuitive game mechanics make it easier to play. Construction fans should definitely take a look.
