The story of Mega Man 5
Again, Mega Man has the plans of Dr. Wily foiled. And again there is new robot annoyance. Dr. Light was kidnapped and is nowhere to be found. Robots run amok and want to level Monsteropolis to the ground. Mega Man goes in search of Dr. Light. He throws himself into battle with the robot bosses.
The level design
At the beginning there is a little intro. You learn the Proto Man used to kidnap Dr. Light is responsible. At the beginning you make the selection of the robot masters. Each opponent has its special characteristics, which combat tactics and weapons are tailored to. The levels are designed so that the character of the opponent comes into its own. The levels are varied, but are a little different than in the previous parts.
The victory over the opponent
With every victory over a final boss you get his weapon, which you can use against other opponents. In addition, the opponents have strengths and, above all, weaknesses that you can exploit. Compared to the previous parts, the weapons are not designed very innovatively. The bosses are also easier to defeat in this part.
Mega Mans supporters
Since Dr. If you can't help you this time, you have your robot dog Rush and Eddy to support you, who will give you new items every now and then. The mega-buster isn't quite as annoying in the fifth part. Mega Man also has a super arrow with which he can climb walls or overcome abysses. The mega tank fills up all of Mega Man's energy, as well as his weapon energy. This makes the game a little easier. If you manage to find and collect the letters MEGAMANV in the previous 8 levels, you will get the bird beat to help you.
Protoman
Once you have completed the level, the view of Proto Man's castle becomes clear. There you have to fight your way through 4 more levels. The design changes, but they are very similar. The bosses are similar. Have you defeated them Proto Man awaits you.
Dr. Greetings from Wily
Then Mega Man has to go to the fortress of Dr. Wily. As before, another four levels are waiting to be passed. These levels are not as monotonous as in Proto Man. At the end of each level you have to defeat a boss before you have to defeat all 8 bosses from the beginning again at the end. Then you can play against Dr. Wily line up.
Graphic
The graphics are not quite as colorful as in part 4. Some very nice graphics effects have been added to the game. The opponents and backgrounds are well designed and varied.
Music
The music has been changed compared to previous games. Nevertheless, it fits the corresponding levels. In the fifth part there is very good music that becomes a real catchy tune.

Mega Man 5 brings little new to the game. The graphics and sound are of high quality. The game was designed a little differently. The monotony of the opponents can be criticized, as there could have been better ideas. The fifth part is still highly recommended. The level of difficulty is not quite as high as in other games. The game is well suited for beginners.
