License to Putt – Wallace & Gromit

Wallace and Gromit: License to Putt is the final installment in the Telltale Games series. Wallace does everything possible to prevent his wedding. The fourth part came out on October 5th, 2010.

On to the golf

Poor Wallace is surprisingly engaged and about to get married. Due to a misunderstanding he is the future husband of his neighbor Miss Flitter. In this game you help him prevent his wedding. It helps that the aunt only agrees to the engagement if Wallace is not a member of the golf club. The club is about to close and Wallace is doing everything possible to become a member.

The last part is also in English. The humor is not neglected here. Many sections from the predecessor have been reused. There are fewer new locations. You control the protagonist with your mouse and keyboard. In addition, there are some graphic errors that reduce the gaming experience.

Conclusion on license to putt

The final does not manage to top the predecessors. There are one or two more difficult puzzles in this part, but Wallace & Gromit are still not convincing. Nice, well-intentioned, but weak. Daedalic Entertainment acted as publisher. Further information is available on Pressakey
