Hover Cubes X: Arena is another game published by Deck 13. The game is developed by Gametology.
In the Arena - Hover Cubes X
The game doesn't seem to have made it past Early Access. The game was also competitive and designed as a first-person multiplayer online platformer. Using the in-game skills, the player jumps off walls or does daring double jumps in the air. The different Hover Cubes have different properties that can be combined in different ways. The game was fast-paced, involving overcoming chasms and avoiding traps. As a player, it was advantageous to be faster than the opponents, for example to block their path. There should be a global high score list.

course on the way
The game was discussed as a potential esports candidate. It was based on the Unreal Engine 4 and 6 people were involved in the development. Another aid for the course were platforms that could be generated in the air. On the way, the player used them as bridges and springboards. In this way he was able to overcome more difficult sections of the course.
The design
Monika Orzechowski, a game design student and the developers of Gametology were involved in the design. Monik was commissioned to design a multiplayer lounge for the game. From there, players should be able to start the game. Christian Flock, the creative director, worked on the lounge design. He took care of the VFX implementation, the gameplay functionality and the basic layout.
The release was planned for May 2, 2016. The development of Hover Cube: Arena was discontinued because the development studio no longer exists.
