From Software is the developer behind Elden Ring. It is a Japanese developer and publisher.
The founding of FromSoftware
From Software was founded on November 1, 1986 by Natoshi Zin. This was initially a developer of business applications for PC. In 1994 the company then started developing its first computer game called King's field. Further publications of his own games and as a publisher for the Dreamcast, Nintendo DS, GameCube, Playstation, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox, Xbox 360, PSP, video and PC consoles followed. There are also other developments for smartphones.
Known publications by From Software
The company's best-known games include Armored Core, Otogi, Demon's Souls and Dark Souls. As a publisher, they brought out Acquire's Tenchu series accordingly. Other publishers the company worked with were Activision, Atlus, Bandai Namco, Sega and Sony.
Finally, there were four parts and different offshoots of King's Field. There was also a fan development tool. This was titled Sword of Moonlight. King's Field Making Tool.
