The game Diplomacy is not an Option shows uprisings in the Middle Ages, castles and a pinch of Stronghold. Here you become the vengeful ruler of your people who doesn't play games.
Against the Insurgents in Diplomacy is no an option
You find yourself together on a map. You face n hordes of enemies that don't get easier or less with each coming wave. A timer and minimap will show you where the insurgents will gather next. You recruit troops in good time and explore the map. Of course, you have to free them from other enemy camps.
Magic in the Middle Ages
The game mixes medieval strategy with fantasy options. For example, you have the ability to use magic against riots. For the magic attacks you need magic crystals. With them you can summon dark warriors or meteors fall from the sky on the insurgents.
Building the base
In order to be able to defend yourself properly, you need a well-developed base. Around the keep you place farms, residences and other buildings. Your workers collect wood for the camps and food for the granaries. Food is particularly important as it determines the number of soldiers you have. Other workers pick berries, catch fish or grow crops. When there is a lack of food, there is a risk of famine. Deadly diseases decimate the people and bother you.
Conclusion on diplomacy is not an option
Exploring the area, building your castle and being forced to defend are an excellent mix. Inspired by Stronghold, the game is extremely entertaining. All in all, it's the mix that makes it. Along with the magic crystals and a dash of magic attacks, it's not just stuck in the Middle Ages, but brings innovative entertainment with it. So far the game is still in Early Access. So there is still a lot of work going on here. Cosmocover is responsible for the publishing of the game.
