The Princess in the Twilight is a small, lyrical fairy tale.
The Princess in the Twilight
In the firmament, a star rises,
Raise a great castle,
The hidden between day and night,
Is heavily guarded by beings,
That we only know from stories,
Which people like to write poetry!
hidden inside,
Without any worries,
There lives a fair maiden,
That never went very far,
Away from the castle,
To another place.
She is in her most beautiful form,
In a dragon's power.
So that the princess never saw a person,
With whom she could go.
She read about love,
From the heart thief.
So she longs for solitude,
After a life together.
A prince had heard and read about her,
Was on the way to her.
He slew the monsters himself,
Those who dare to follow his path.
He fights with the sword without fear!
This lovely woman is worth his life.
So he comes through rows of demons,
To free the princess.
Finally he stands before the dragon,
To whom the stories honor.
Wings stretched, eyes glowing,
He was as big as a thimble.
What happened in the stories?
What did the narrators see?
When they are in the dark by the light of flames
Came to free the princess,
When they saw the giant shadow,
So it came with violence.
The fear of unimaginable pain,
Captured their hearts,
So that they seized with force,
And speed the escape.
When reputation is in danger,
Man even invents
armies he defeats,
So that he gets the most beautiful women.
The prince became the princess's husband,
And ruled the kingdom for a very long time,
wise and full of joy,
With a guard the size of a thimble.
