Eric Bane suffers from amnesia. He wakes up in a discotheque and doesn't remember anything. Instead, he has angelic visions and tends to talk to himself. He meets Rose, who tells him that a vampire has bitten and that he needs what he can do. Otherwise, he mutates into and is allowed to spend the rest of his life messing with corpses. Since he does not know who its creator is, he goes in search of an old and important vampire, whose blood should also help him.
In relation to his new fate, this one doesn't seem to impress Eric. You learn to suck up opponents, knock them down and dodge them. There is hardly any emotional component that is built up from player to hero. You accept what is happening indifferently, just like the pawn.

The story of the vampire comprises five chapters. The game doesn't even offer proper boss fights in which you have to assert yourself. You walk through corridors and larger rooms with trigger-happy guards whose weapons you do mind. You use boxes, showcases and other items as cover. The darkness does not help in any way. In the worst case scenario, what you discover will die and have to try again. Only by trying you can find out how far the individual guards can see.
Thanks to your vampire vision, you can see through walls. However, then time slows down so you can't figure out where the guards are walking. Another special ability of Eric is the shadow jump. He hops from A to B very quickly. By sucking up opponents, Eric gains experience points. With this he builds his strength. For some he needs blood.
Sometimes the game becomes unfair, difficult and frustrating. This is because the number of opponents and level design remain constant and Eric first needs new skills in order to be able to defend himself. The deaths in the game are numerous. Graphics and animations are also poor.
Conclusion
Dark is not recommended. There are some over-the-top issues in the game that spoil the fun of the game. In addition, there is the degree of difficulty that opponents arise and the opponent's position. Controls, game balance and other things spoil the game a lot. In this one of his, this is a game where you can say: hands off.
