In Cultic against the cult
Pack your guts again and gear up to fight your way through the ranks of a mysterious and violent cult. Your thoughts have been further twisted by the will of an invisible entity. You'll find that as much lead flies back as you send, so you'll need to run, slide, dodge, and use your surroundings to survive in this ancient era. Culric is an old-school shooter inspired by classics.
Fight your way
Combat in Cultic is fast and deadly. Cultic gives you the freedom to approach combat your way. You can walk, run, jump, slide and dodge while shooting your weapons to avoid damage. If you prefer a slower style of combat, you can set traps, let your enemies come to you, and finish them off from safe cover. Perhaps you prefer to weave between your enemies, directing their attacks and turning them against each other.
An arsenal of weapons
Armed with a full arsenal of mid-century firearms and explosives, you're well equipped to take down anything in your path - assuming they don't get you first. Cultic was designed to feel like a throwback to the shooters of yesteryear but with the benefits of a modern engine like physics, lighting and a full 3D game world. The gameplay, audio design and graphics are all stylized to create a unique experience.
The developer of the game is Jazz Games. 3D Realms is the publisher. A release date is not yet known.
