Blightbound by Ronimo Games is a dark multiplayer dungeon crawler. A group of warriors defeated the Shadow Titan. The Blight, a Neel, streamed out of the remains. The Titan turned people into fantasy monsters. Two companions accompany you through the various Dungeons in the game. You level up, expand your base and improve your equipment.
The base
Various Dungeons can be researched in Blightbound. Over 20 heroes can be unlocked. There is also loot that you get in battle. You recruit craftsmen for your base, expand it, make items and redeem bounties. Your heroes also need training.
Free characters
The characters that you can unlock are divided into the warrior, mage and assassin classes. A skill represents the difference between the classes. The missions are repeated more often and the game was released for PS4 and Xbox One. The game was released in collaboration with Devolver Digital.
The countries
You wander through three different countries, each of which has its own dungeon. The game shows itself graphically with hand-painted characters and 3D models.
The Wolfpack
The Wolfpack expanded the game to include a whole new area and new heroines. These are the underground dungeons of Underhold: The Creeping Blight.
The characters
You will meet characters like Wodiania and her son Karrogh, the fearful wolf or the blind matriarch Wodania. Here, too, another story of the game is presented.
Helping Hands
Helping Hands is another update to the game that expands your ranks of heroes. You will encounter more characters and new skills complete the story.
Arcane glamor
Again the game expanded to include characters and opponents, but the development studio fine-tuned the gameplay. Another area complements the underhold area. The ranged combat master Roland of Stendhall joins them.
Conclusion
Blightbound is a lot of fun in the Coop and scores above all with the graphics. On the other hand, the game weakens at the levels, as well as in the gameplay. The game is not necessarily recommended for solo players. If you are looking for a nice couch co-op, you can buy it, but you shouldn't expect too much.
