Blackjack for that NES is an unlicensed card game published by American Video Entertainment.
Blackjack gameplay
The gameplay is simple. You control one hand with the digital pad and choose what you want to do from a list of options. First you place your bet, which you can increase or decrease in increments of two or ten. Then you click deal and you receive your two cards. From there you can hit or stand, split, surrender, double down or insure yourself against a dealer blackjack. Before the game starts you have a few options. You can choose between one, two or three decks, set the table limit, choose between one or two players and set how much money each player starts with.
The graphic
The graphics don't stand out. Unless you like green screens with white words on them. The screen is relatively boring and unexciting. The cards themselves aren't much better. With little happening on screen, you'd think the maps could be better graphically, but they're not outstanding either.
noise and music
The title screen music isn't bad, but it's also nothing memorable. After the cover picture, the music disappears. The only thing you hear is a few beeps when you click on things. Feel free to turn off the sounds. If you run out of money or break the bank, listen to some more music.
Conclusion on Blackjack
If you like blackjack, you will like the game. If you don't like blackjack, playing it won't change that attitude. The game is a good reflection of the game. If you like blackjack and want to play with a friend and don't feel like keeping track of your "money" manually, the game is a good choice.
