A plague is ravaging the land in Biomutant, and the tree of life is bleeding from its roots. The tribes are divided and need someone strong enough to unite them or bring them all down... Will you be able to unite the divided and stop the plague?
Gameplay in Biomutant
Recode genetic structures. This allows you to customize your appearance and vary the game performance. Your attributes change. Biocontamination changes the world and with it your physical existence. For example, you will be ambushed by locust claws, whose tails are equipped with deadly spikes. In bunkers of the old world you can find radioactivity that can trigger psychomutations in you. You will learn telekinesis, levitation and more.
The story develops
Your actions affect the development of the story. The end of the new world is approaching. The land is destroyed by a plague and the roots of the tree of life bring death. The tribes are at war and need someone to unite or subdue them.
Martial arts fights in Biomutant
Biomutant uses a Martia Arts combat system. Freedom of movement and agility are the order of the day so you can shoot and engage in melee combat. You must combine your mutations to build power. The Wushu martial arts take you further. You learn from the masters, expand your skills and fight your way forward.
The crafting
In Biomutant you are free to craft weapons of your liking. You combine parts and craft one-handed and two-handed melee weapons. You use them to slash, smash and pierce your opponents. Your arsenal of weapons expands with revolvers, rifles and shotguns. You modify them with corkscrews, battery chainsaw modules, and biocontaminated mud vials. You add your new creations to your arsenal of weapons. Some characters provide bionic wings and craft jump packs for you. You can even have robots modified.
Off to adventure
Start your character how you want it. You choose weapons that you make yourself. You also dress up your character as you wish. Gas mask and oxygen tank are among your options if you want to break into death row. You need thermally resistant clothing for the Kyronic zones. You will need protective gear when encountering the biocontaminated creatures.
Survival in the open world
You explored the world on foot, in a mech, on a jet ski or in a hot air balloon. Depending on which environment you explored, different means of transport are available to you. You can explore the world and what is below you. The dying wilderness, the tunnel and bunker network in the underworld or the mountains and the archipelago are waiting to be discovered. Discoveries, mysteries, encounters with creatures and strange characters await you in a living and dazzling world.
