Bible Buffet is an interactive board game from Wisdom Tree for the NES-System.
The children's board game Bible Buffet
Bible Buffet is a harmless little board game for kids that occasionally presents you with written questions when you land on certain squares. Lack of knowledge and verses do not matter, since success in the end only brings a few extra stars or points.

The minimum number of players
Since this is meant to be a board game, playing it without at least two players won't do you much good. A total of four players can play. The computer cannot take over for missing players.
the levels
The levels are a series of mazes with food symbols that can be picked up for points. You have three life hearts and take damage from attacking food creatures or forks and knives. If you lose all your hearts, you lose your turn and have to play the field again. The points you can collect here will help you win in the end. The goal is to be the first to cross the finish line and collect the most points.
exploding effect
Aside from timing most enemies' predictable patterns, you also have the option to drop what looks like an exploding oil drum to clear your way, Bomberman style.

Dangerous foods
The controls are adequate but not too basic. Graphics don't stand out that much. The items are all made of food, so there's never a clear distinction between the food that's supposed to give you points and the food that comes alive and wants to damage you. The walls of the labyrinth also consist of some food. Everything is made of food.
Collect points
If you're having trouble earning points, you can try to stand out from the other players by providing the correct answers in the quiz sections. As a player, you can win through your skills or draw on Sunday school knowledge. Neither is essential to win the game. The game sections aren't very exciting, and the quiz sections are based on a printed quiz book that came with the cassette at the time. If you don't have the book, you'll have to circle random answers and hope for the best.
Conclusion on Bible Buffet
Bible Buffet is truly not a biblical game like some others Wisdom Tree- is used to playing. Without the catalog of questions you are really lost in the quiz area and playing it alone is not worth it. Players should stay away from this game.
