Aussie Rules Footy
The simulation game for the NES is about Australian football. The game takes place in the 3rd person and can only be played by one person against the computer or by 2 players against each other. There is a kick-to-kick mode and a seasonal mode. In season mode, 1,4 or 6 players have the opportunity to play against each other in one season. At the end there is a grand finale.
The aim of the game is to get the highest number of points at the end of the game. A team scores by scoring a goal. To move the football, the player has the option of joining or playing with the hand. A player without a ball can mark it or attack an opposing player with a ball.
It is interesting that this NES game already creates a certain stadium atmosphere. There's built-in applause, an Australian-sounding referee and commentator to help.
If you want to take a look at an older NES sports game, this game has the option.
