720 Degrees is one of the first skateboarding games. It was originally planned for the NES planned. It was previously published for GBC.
720 degrees
In 1986, 720 ° or 720 Degrees, a skateboard arcade game that Atari Games developed and published, appeared. You control a skateboarder driving around the neighborhood. With jumps and tricks you collect enough points to be able to compete in a skate park. The name of the game was derived from the ultimate stunt in which the skateboarder turns two complete circles (720 °) after jumping off a ramp.
The gameplay
In "720 degrees" you walk around a lot in a skate park. You have fun there until a strange skull chases you to the nearest park. In the park you will find half-pipe, slalom and ramp. In the game, you buy more skate gear to do better stunts.
The control of the game is not very mature, but it can be learned. The tricks are unfortunately very limited. Once you have completed the partial course, you return to the main park. The skeleton is already waiting for you there again.

Graphics and sound
Don't expect detailed graphics in this game. There are many colors that make the park stand out, but not particularly. There are other skaters around the park, including a scary skeleton. The game depicts the streets in color and with signs. Graphically, the game is NES-oriented, as it was originally designed for this console. It was designed by John Salwitz and Dave Ralston. The sound of "720 degrees" didn't work out. That also applies to music.

Conclusion
"720 Degrees" is one of the first skateboarding games. If you really want to have played it once, you are welcome to invest your money. It's not worth it. Graphics and sound are bad. The options are too limited. Better keep your hands off it!
