Infogrames released the racing game 4 × 4 World Trophy under the title Off-Road 3. The racing game was released in 1999 for the PlayStation, Windows and Game Boy Color. It has 3 game modes: arcade, 2 player mode and world tour. In a race 5 participants compete against each other. At that time, Infogrames announced another version for Sega Dreamcast, but this was canceled. In Europe, the game was released in 2000 because Infogrames did not have a license for the name Test Drive. That's why Test Drive 6 was released in Europe by Cryo Interactive.
